Russian Artistes' Performance Applauded by Audience

 Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- The 33rd April Spring Friendship Art Festival goes on in the DPRK. It opened to mark the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
The numbers reflecting the desire of the Russian people to further deepen the ties of friendship and solidarity between the two countries, which has entered a new high stage through the historic DPRK-Russia summit, peculiarly decorate the festival, clearly representing the idea of grand international art festival.
Renowned art troupes of Russia start their performances with immortal revolutionary hymns to the peerlessly great men of the DPRK in reflection of the boundless reverence for them who performed great exploits for the cause of global independence.
Artistes of the Mikhail Godenko State Krasnoyarsk Dance Company Academic of Siberia put on the festival stage a special dance "We Love Night of Pyongyang," which depicts the dramatic changes in the appearance of Pyongyang being witnessed along with new ideal streets springing up one after another to represent high socialist civilization and the happiness of the Korean people.
Artistes of the Russian Army Academic Song and Dance Ensemble Named after Alexandrov and the art troupe of the central border guards of the Russian Federal Security Service represented the patriotic feelings and will of the Russian people to preserve peace, justice and truth through male chorus "Song of Soviet Army", female solo and children's chorus "For Peace and Love" and male solo and chorus "Soldiers of Great Victory". 
A male solo and male chorus "The Evening in the Suburbs of Moscow ", female solo "Fly with Wind" and other numbers representing the culture created by the Russian people and its development vividly show the sincerity of friendly missions to celebrate the significant April holiday as the one common to mankind.
Saying that he was pleased to participate in the April Spring Friendship Art Festival and contribute to developing the DPRK-Russia friendly relations, pop star Oleg Gazmanov mesmerized the audience with solos "Mother" and "My Only Love." -0-
