Vocational Technology Education Improved in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is putting spurs to raising the educational level of vocational technology colleges in the province.
The province has paid attention to improving the educational conditions and environment of vocational technology colleges and sent a lot of teaching aids and equipment to them by boosting enthusiasm for support in March, the month of college support.
It saw to it that the support organizations in relevant regions learned in detail about the educational situation of colleges in their charge and helped them.
Meanwhile, the province has directed efforts to strengthening the teaching forces of vocational technology colleges in cities and counties and improving the teaching quality.
Short courses for improving the qualifications of teachers are organized in various forms and ways and measures are taken to bring about substantial progress in raising the educational level of vocational technology colleges while generalizing advanced teaching methods. -0-
