Scientific Research for Developing Poultry Farming

Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- Officials and scientists of the Academy of Poultry Science under the Agricultural Commission in the DPRK push ahead with scientific researches to develop the country's poultry farming.
The academy organized a seminar to solve the technical issues arising in optimizing the poultry breeding and caring and feed provision and to ensure the sharing and transfer of advanced successes and experience. And it has trained competent researchers.
Its researchers made valuable successes to open up a prospect for increasing the number of domestic fowls with high fertility and annual egg-laying rate.
They also established a technical method for raising the quality of eggs by formulating the mixed feed provision in a scientific way and introduced it into poultry production units across the country to increase the egg production. -0-
