President Kim Il Sung Remembered in Brazil

Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- A joint on-line seminar titled "Distinguished Leader of the 20th Century" of Brazilian political parties and organizations was held to mark the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
It was attended by personages from the Brazilian Communist Party, the Brazilian Centre for Peace and Solidarity with Peoples, the Brazilian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association and other political parties and organizations.
Rosanita Campos, member of the National Political Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party, made an address at the seminar.
Recalling the days when he was received by President Kim Il Sung during the visit to the DPRK, he praised the President as the great hero of mankind and prominent leader of the world socialist movement.
Thanks to his wise leadership, the Korean people were liberated from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and the DPRK, less than two years old, could reliably defend its sovereignty and independence from the aggression by U.S. imperialism, the speaker stressed.
He stated that People's Korea is now demonstrating to the whole world its dignity and might as an invincible socialist fortress under the leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un.
Then followed speeches.
President Kim Il Sung energetically worked for the development of the socialist movement, the victorious advance of the cause of independence against imperialism and the accomplishment of the cause of global peace under the uplifted banner of independence and international justice throughout his revolutionary life, performing more titanic exploits than any other great persons in the world, the speakers said, praising him as a prominent great man of the 20th century. -0-
