Tree-Planting Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people across the country have planted more than 100 million trees in tens of thousands of hectares of forests in spring this year.
Those in North Hwanghae Province turned out in the tree-planting campaign on the basis of thorough preparations.
Yonthan County planted trees with great care by applying enough organic fertilizer of quality to every pit so as to raise the  rate of rooting.
Singye County, Koksan County and other areas carried out their assignments in a responsible manner, observing the principle of planting the right tree on the right soil and in right time.
Spring tree planting has been pushed forward as planned in cities and counties of South Hwanghae Province.
Pongchon County made good preparations and mobilized the masses for tree planting.
Similar successes have been witnessed in Pyongyang, South Phyongan, North Hamgyong and South Hamgyong provinces. -0-
