From Russia... Al-Araji Confirms Iraq's Keenness To Establish The Best Relations With Friendly And Brotherly Countries

Baghdad / NINA / - National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji stressed Iraq's keenness to establish the best relations with friendly and brotherly countries.

The Chancellery stated in a statement: “Today, on the sidelines of the twelfth meeting of senior officials responsible for security issues held in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, Al-Araji met with the Kuwaiti Deputy Minister of Defense Abdullah Meshaal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Sabah.”

Al-Araji discussed with the Kuwaiti Deputy Minister of Defense the overall security developments at the international and regional levels, as well as discussing strengthening fraternal relations between Iraq and the State of Kuwait at all levels, including cooperation in enhancing the security of the two countries and exchanging information.

Al-Araji renewed Iraq's keenness to establish the best relations with friendly and brotherly countries, pointing to the strong historical and social ties that bring together the Iraqi and Kuwaiti peoples, and Iraq's endeavor to strengthen them and work to perpetuate them through cooperation in files and issues of common interest./End
