Sowing in Rice Seedbeds Hastened in DPRK Rural Areas

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in the agricultural field across the DPRK are pushing ahead with the immediate sowing in rice seedbeds at the final stage.
Officials of the Agricultural Commission and the provincial rural economy committees are working hard to push ahead with sowing as planned, taking into account the climatic conditions in the relevant areas and the time of transplanting.
Officials and agricultural workers in South Hwanghae Province are making achievements in sowing in rice seedbeds.
Paechon, Unchon and Pyoksong counties have completed the sowing mainly while sterilizing rice seeds and germinating seeds in a responsible manner. They are also focusing on temperature and humidity management and fertilizer spreading on seedbeds in a responsible manner.
South Phyongan Province is sowing a large area every day, strictly observing the requirements of technical regulations.
Officials and agricultural workers in North Phyongan Province set the right sowing time and are working hard to ensure the correct sowing amount according to species.
