National Sci-tech Presentation in Electric Power Industry of DPRK

 Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the electric power industry of the DPRK took place at the Sci-Tech Complex here from April 22 to 26.
The presentation on the theme of "Technical upgrading of generating equipment, modernization of power production and supply" brought together officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and three-revolution team members from more than 40 units including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, the State Academy of Sciences, the Anbyon Youth Power Station and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant.
More than 130 valuable papers were submitted to the presentation.
A proposal for introducing modern technology into the seal apparatus of a thermal turbine, a proposal for upgrading of transformer capacity of substations and other proposals were highly appreciated.
During the presentation, there were a video show dealing with major sci-tech achievements made in the field of electric power industry from 2021 to 2023 and a technical lecture. -0-
