Iranian volleyball player becomes legionnaire in Brazil

Sari, IRNA - Javad Karimi, a setter in Iran’s national volleyball team, joined Tênis Clube of Brazil as the first Iranian legionnaire for the next season.

“I am very happy to have the opportunity to play for Tênis Clube of Brazil,” Karimi said on Wednesday.

“It is a big club with a great structure and a prestigious one in Brazil and the world,” he added.

The Iranian setter had already played in Romania and Belgium.
