Mass Movement Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- A number of officials of the youth league and young people across the country are actively conducting the revolutionary mass movement to contribute to developing the country's economy and improving the people's standard of living.
The activities of youth shock brigades for night support and good-conduct movement being conducted at every field of regional-industry revolution are inspiring all the officers and men of the 124th regiments of the Korean People's Army with the revolutionary enthusiasm and militant spirit.
True to the noble intention of the Workers' Party of Korea which took revolutionary measures for the perfect implementation of the regional development policy, young people are devoting their patriotic sincerity and efforts to creating raw materials bases.
In order to complete the overall irrigation system, youth league organizations in North Phyongan Province, including Phihyon, Ryongchon and Cholsan counties, removed a large amount of earth to make contribution to increasing the water passage capacity  through brisk shock brigade activities.
The innovative successes made in the key industrial sectors are associated with the sincerity and enthusiasm of the young vanguards who strive to make a breakthrough in the van of the struggle for attaining the 12 major goals of the national economic development  the in the spirit of Chollima in the new era.
25 young people and at least 220 young people at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill have fulfilled their yearly national economic plans and their first half-yearly quotas respectively. Five young people and over 40 young people at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill have fulfilled their yearly plans and their first half-yearly plan respectively. -0-
