On the 28th of January, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ts.Oyungerel paid respects to artists who received the 'Grand Prix' in the Golden Circus festival, ranking third in the World.

Artists of the Mongolian circus 'Bud X Roses' studio headed by T.Bud have won a Cup for the best performance and a special prize from Italy's government. Aged from 14 to 20 they have served the circus art for 7 to 10 years. The Golden Circus Festival was held for 30th time this year. Its honor performance was organized for four days with participation of the world's best circus artists.

This year, over 50 actors from America, Asia and Europe competed with their talents and skills. The festival was held in Rome, Italy from December 21 to January 21. Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ts.Oyungerel said "We are happy that our youth demonstrated courageous and patient performances of the Mongolian circus and could lead in the world with their success. Younger artists who inherit the national cultural heritage and envoy it to the world circus arena should be valued not only in the cultural sector but also at the Government level in the future”.

Last summer, artists of 'Bud X Roses' studio won 2 gold medals at the tournament named after people’s actor B.Norovsambuu, as well 'Bronze Lion' and 'Golden lion' for the best performance at the International tournament category 'A' held in October, 2013.

In 2013, Mongolian circus actors took part in 2 types of acrobatics in the 'Golden Circus' Festival and performances such as jumping from a board and flying acrobats were selected as the best in the final stage.
