Basra, Khuzestan Provinces Sign Trade, Economic Co-op MoU

Ahvaz, Khuzestan Prov., Feb 26, IRNA – Governors general of two provinces of Basra (Iraq) and Khuzestan (Iran) signed here on Saturday a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) for trade and economic cooperation . According to the MoU, which was signed by Seyed Ja’far Hejazi, Governor General of Khouzestan Province, and Khalaf Abdulsamad Khalaf, Governor General of Iraqi Province of Basra, Both would develop their cooperation in the fields of tourism, shuttle of citizens of both provinces through sea border, construction of border temporary mini-mall, construction of housing in Basra, passing transit merchandises through Iraqi territory, agricultural goods, exchanging university students and exporting engineering services./end
