Boost to Bahrain-Egypt business ties

Manama, Mar. 8 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member and head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Egyptian Joint Business Council, Afnan Al Zayani, has met representatives of the Egyptian Federation of Industries in Cairo. The two sides deliberated about the preparations and updates about the Bahraini-Egyptian Expo to be hosted in the kingdom on May 16-18. The Expo will include exhibitors from both countries, and will focus on various sectors including industrial, tourism, real-estate, banking and handicrafts. Afnan Al Zayani said: "The event aims to step-up business between Bahrain and Egypt, encourage liaise between business owners, and highlight business opportunities." She highlighted that on the sideline of the event, an art exhibition will be held and the Bahraini-Egyptian Joint Business Council will hold its third meeting. Members of the business community in Bahrain and from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are invited by BCCI to attend the Bahraini-Egyptian Expo.
