Bumi Armada Sets Up Unit in Ghana

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 (Bernama) -- Bumi Armada Bhd, through its wholly-owned unit, Bumi Armada Singapore Holdings Pte Ltd, has incorporated a 60 per cent-owned subsidiary known as Bumi Armada Marine Ghana Ltd (BAMG), on Aug 1, 2017 in Ghana. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Thursday, the offshore oilfield services provider said Cypress Energy Co Ltd (CECL) owned the remaining stake in BAMG. “Bumi Armada received the certificate of incorporation of BAMG today (Thursday),” it said. The principal activity of BAMG is to provide offshore support vessel services to the oil and gas industry in Ghana. CECL’s principal activities are sale and marketing of offshore field support services, pipeline maintenance and construction and transportation of goods and general logistics. -- BERNAMA
