Bursa M'sia Closes Two Days for Eid Al-Fitr

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia Bhd and its subsidiaries will be closed for two days beginning Wednesday in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri (Eid Al-Fitr) public holidays. Operations would resume on Friday, July 8, said Bursa in a statement Monday. As for tomorrow (Tuesday, July 5), trading would be opened for the morning session only. "There will be no trading in the afternoon session. "However, clearing and settlement services provided by Bursa Malaysia Securities Clearing and depository services provided by Bursa Malaysia Depository will continue as usual on Tuesday," it said.
