China's Joymain Group Conference To Generate RM31.8 Mln In Economic Impact

KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 (Bernama) – The Nanjing Joymain Sci & Tech Development Ltd’s Annual Distributor Conference, scheduled for May 6 to 8 at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS), is expected to generate an economic impact worth RM31.8 million (US$7.3 million). The Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), in a statement today, said over 3,500 delegates from the Chinese healthcare giant would be attending the conference, the largest-ever meeting and incentives group from China to visit Sabah. “We have seen continued growth in China in the corporate meeting and incentives group market, and we are thrilled to have the Joymain Group here once again,” said MyCEB Chief Executive Officer Zulkefli Sharif, adding that the group held their conference in Kuala Lumpur last year. "The repeat visit is a testimony that Malaysia is one of the preferred destinations for corporate meeting and incentive groups from China,” he said.
