EDB, BIBF organise seminar on economic diversification

Manama, Mar 24 (BNA) – More than 90 bankers, university lecturers, students, government sector representatives and businessmen attended the closed-door seminar to discuss diversification of Bahrain's economy. Economic Development Board (EDB) and Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) organised the seminar. Chief Executive's Advisor for Labour Market Regulatory Authority Policy, Head of BIBF's Banking Studies Centre and EDB's Head economist addressed the seminar on Bahrain's strategy for economic diversification for meeting education and labour market employments. EDB's Head economist stressed the economic diversification is the locomotive necessary for growth and achieving the knowledge-based economy, adding these seminars assist in developing strategies contribute to meeting Bahrain's economy and economic sectors needs.
