FAA expected to report findings on Thai aviation standard within one month
BANGKOK, October 26 (TNA) - In response to an ongoing audit on Thailand's aviation standard by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) from October 26-28, Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith says that FAA is likely to report findings of its audit within one month.
Arkhom told journalists on Monday that his ministry's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has already solved all issues earlier noticed by FAA, including six main issues and 35 smaller ones.
The transport minister explained although Thailand has not operated any direct flight to the United States so far, the solution should be beneficial for the Kingdom's aviation standard in the long run because Thailand has been in alliance with foreign airlines operating flights to the United States.
