HRH Premier to patronise GCC-Turkey forum

Manama, July 3 (BNA): Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in cooperation with the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchange of Turkey (TOBB), is organizing the 2nd GCC-Turkey Economic and Investment Forum in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 1-2 2016. During a press conference held in Bait Altijjar to reveal details about the Forum, the head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Turkish Joint Business Council Ahmed Binhindi said "The forum aims to strengthen economic ties between Turkey and the GCC countries, promote regional integration and diversification, and step-up investment, trade, and business activities". Binhindi added that the forum will include opening speeches by key participants, and will incorporate four panel sessions, with the first titled "Healthcare and Health Tourism: Indispensable Priority to Benefit Quality Treatment"; the second titled "Infrastructure and Technical Consultancy: How to Build a Sound Cooperation?"; the third "Defense Industry: A Prospective Commitment to Region’s Safety, Security and Stability"; and the final panel session titled "Logistics and Transportation Networks: Building Connectivity of the GCC With the Rest of the World". Binhindi encouraged the business community to take part in this prominent business event which will also include B2B meetings, constituting an invaluable opportunity for liaison between both sides and a platform to mull investment and partnership opportunities. He revealed that the event will result in a declaration stating the decisions and recommendations of the forum.
