Iran To Increase Oil Exports : Official

Moscow, June 27, IRNA – Deputy oil minister of Iran said on Tuesday that the country is planned to increase its oil exports. Ahmad Qal’ebani, who is also head of National Iranian Oil Company, made the remarks while addressing the 10th Russian Petroleum Congress RPGC on June 26-28 in the Russian capital. Iran is determined to boost its oil extraction by 28 percent in order to produce 5,122,000 barrels of oil per day by 2015, said the official. According to the planning, Iran’s daily oil exports should rise from the current 2,280,000 barrels to over 3 million barrels, added Qal’ebani. On the gas issue, the official said Iran is planned to produce 1.47 billion cubic meters of gas every day by 2015./end
