Iran-Tunisia Commercial Council To Start Operating

Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA – Tunisian Commerce Minister Abdulwahab Moattar said the joint committee of Iran-Tunisia Traders will start operation soon. Making the remark in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Tunisia Peyman Jebelli, the minister said he will officially launch the activity of the joint council during his upcoming visit to Iran late October. He said the visit will provide a good chance for him to set the agenda and execute program for the council especially with regards to the private sector activities. The minister noted that his visit to Tehran will further enable both sides to identify the potentials of the other party. Jebelli pointed to the biannual trade exhibition of Islamic countries to be held in Tehran late October 2013 and said the active contribution of Tunisia in the major economic event would help expand mutual ties./end
