Minister of Economy, Commerce Meets South Australian Investment and Trade Minister

Doha, March 16 (QNA) - HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani met here on Thursday with Minister for Investment and Trade in the Government of South Australia, Martin Hamilton-Smith, and his accompanying delegation. Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and means of promoting them. The two sides also discussed aspects of joint cooperation, especially in economic, trade and investment sectors. The trade exchange between Qatar and Australia totaled in 2015 approximately QAR 3.7 billion. Australia is Qatar's 21st trade partner. In 2015, total Qatari exports to Australia amounted to QAR 1.4 billion while imports were valued at nearly QAR 2.3 billion. (QNA)
