Money Expo 2017 starts

BANGKOK, May 12 (TNA) -- Thailand’s largest financial exhibition Money Expo 2017 is opened on Thursday under the theme “Financial Innovation 4.0.” Finance Minister Apisak Tantivorawong presided over the opening ceremony of four-day Expo at Impact Muangthong Thani exhibition center. The Money Expo 2017 presents a wide range of financial solutions with a focus on the digital age. Financial institutes showcase their financial products such as saving plans and loan packages for specific groups. Over 260 financial institutions and government agencies are offering financial solutions that meet the government’s Thailand 4.0 agenda, the organizer says. A new section, FinTech&Startups Zone, is introduced for the first time this year, giving opportunity for businesses to exhibit their financial solutions to banks and financial institutions. Other sections include Health and Wealth zone featuring innovations in medical technology. The Bank of Thailand offers banknotes, coins, calendars and postcards commemorating King Bhumbibol Adulyadej’s life and works. (TNA)
