Qatar Chamber to Discuss Investment and Taxation in U.K. Seminar

Doha, August 05 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber will participate in a seminar held in the United Kingdom on Thursday on investment. They will discuss issues related to investment, commerce, taxation, infrastructure, financial investments, Small and Medium Enterprises. London and Partners is holding the seminar in cooperation with Department for International Trade at the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, and the U.K. Embassy in Doha. The seminar will take place at the headquarters of London and Partners, located in England's capital London. A number of British officials and experts will speak during the event. Member of QC Eng. Ali bin Abdullatif Al Mesned said that the chamber will participate as part of its ongoing efforts to serve the private sector and the national economy. He noted that the chamber sent out invitations to businessmen and its members to attend the seminar, which will allow Qatari businessmen to identify investment opportunities in the U.K. and to communicate with the business community there. Qatar Chamber hosted last March, in cooperation with the commerce attache at the U.K. Embassy to Qatar, on the taxation system in the United Kingdom. (QNA)
