Qatar General Insurance Company Posts Net Profit of QR43.1 Million in Q1

Doha, April 24 (QNA) - Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company posted a net profit of QR43.1 million for the first quarter of 2017, compared to a net profit of QR53.7 million for the same period of the previous year. The Company reported in a statement that earnings per Share amounted to QR 0.49 as of March 31, 2017 versus QR 0.61 of the same period in 2017. Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company was established in 1979 and was listed in Qatar Exchange in 1997. The Company provides all types of insurance coverage except life insurance. (QNA)
