Qatar Participates in 42nd Annual Meeting of Board of Governors of Islamic Development Bank ( IDB)

Jeddah, May 17 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank ( IDB) Group and the annual meetings of the General Assemblies of its affiliated institutions. HE Minister of Finance Ali Shareef Al Emadi headed Qatar's delegation to the meetings hosted by the Saudi city of Jeddah, and will conclude tomorrow. The 42nd Annual Meeting and accompanying events were attended by a number of finance, economy and planning ministers from the Bank's member-states, as well as representatives of regional and international finance institutions, and representatives of Islamic banks, national financing institutions, contractors' associations, consultants and development funds in Islamic countries. The meeting discussed a number of topics and items on the agenda of the boards of governors and general assemblies of the IDB institutions, including the annual report of the Bank's activities and final accounts, in addition to the initiatives adopted by the IDB Group in various fields.(QNA)
