"Remarkable Indonesia Showcase 2014" held in Thailand

BANGKOK, December 10 (TNA) - Indonesia has organized an annual trade event in Thailand, entitled “Remarkable Indonesia Showcase 2014”. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bangkok, aimed to promote a variety of renowned Indonesian products. Held at Centralworld Department Store in the capital on December 9 2014, 16 booths showcased various Indonesian products, including fashions, food and beverages, which attracted a number of people. Presiding over the event, Indonesian Ambassador to Thailand Lutfi Rauf said that the event was an effort to promote Indonesia’s trade and culture in Thailand. According to the Indonesian top envoy, it was also an opportunity and iconic event that showcased a variety of Indonesian fashion products, cultural performances and a fashion show by Indonesian professional designers and dancers. The Remarkable Indonesia Showcase was organized for the second year, after last year’s success in its promotion of Indonesian trade, tourism and investment. Thailand and Indonesia celebrated the 65th anniversary of their long and cordial diplomatic relations in November 2014, which was expected to further strengthen bilateral trade and relationship between the two neighboring countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
