Russian tourism authority expects charters to Far East to start in late summer

MOSCOW, July 20. /TASS/. The Russian Federal Tourism Service (Rosturizm) expects that charter programs for tourists visiting Vladivostok, Sakhalin and Kamchatka will start in late summer, department head of the tourism authority Elena Lysenkova said on Monday. "We are proactively working now with several federal tour operators to launch charters to the Far East - Vladivostok, Sakhalin and Kamchatka are discussed. We hold negotiations with tour operators to set charters as early as in late summer and [discuss] an opportunity of continuing charter programs during the winter season," Lysenkova said.
