Specialized medical project introduced to honor Thai king

BANGKOK, April 23 (TNA) - The Ministry of Public Health joins hands with the Medical Council of Thailand to launch a project offering specialized medical treatments in honor of King Maha Vajiralongkorn. Public Health Minister Piyasakol Sakolsatayathorn together with Prasit Watanapa, president of the Medical Council of Thailand, and chief of specialized medical volunteers, introduced the project, marking the king’s accession to the throne. Under the project running on May 13-14, 200 medical specialists will be deployed to Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital in the eastern province of Prachin Buri to offer specialized medical services to patients awaiting treatments. The doctors aim to provide 10,000 patients with a range of specialized medical treatments, including open-heart and eye surgeries. (TNA)
