Terengganu's Chicken Cottage To Open 10 Overseas Branches Next Year

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 15 (Bernama) -- Chicken Cottage Ltd (CCL), a subsidiary of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn Bhd (Terengganu Inc), is set to open 10 new branches next year as part of an overseas expansion plan. Terengganu Inc, a state government investment company, holds a 70 per cent stake in CCL. Next year, CCL is expected to open four branches in London, Dubai (two), Nigeria (three) and Germany (one). Malaysia's Terengganu state Chief Minister Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said in a statement the company has 81 fast food franchise restaurants in the United Kingdom, where it opened its second branch on Nov 9 in Harrow Road, London. Ahmad Razif, who is also Terengganu Inc Chairman, said following the branch's success, the company is exploring international business opportunities outside London. -- BERNAMA
