Thailand to export crude oil
BANGKOK, October 12 (TNA) - The Ministry of Energy will seek the Thai Cabinet's approval of allowing local petroleum producers to export crude oil to overseas markets.
New Energy Minister General Anantaporn Kanjanarat told journalists on Monday he plans to ask the Cabinet, at its weekly meeting on October 13, to review the NCPO's previous order, which has prohibited Thailand's exports of crude oil.
According to the energy minister, Thailand's exports of crude oil, if approved by the Cabinet, will include those from such new petroleum fields as the Wassana oil field in the Gulf of Thailand. (TNA)
