Cultural Village Celebrates World Heritage Day

Doha, April 19 (QNA) - The Cultural Village operated by the Qatar Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage continues its series of events for the second day in a row presenting unique and varied shows, in celebration of the World Heritage Day held on the 18th of April every year. The events aim to preserve heritage and raise awareness over its importance in addition to highlighting the culture and traditions of ancestors for upcoming generations and furthermore, reminding residents of the authenticity of Qatar's heritage. Celebrations include a mix of folk arts and popular games for children in addition to crafts and food. The Cultural Village greatly contributes to reviving Qatar's past through art on a national level, as well as hosting Gulf artists to enjoy artistic and cultural presentations and bring their value to the public.
