Morrissey Performs In Jakarta

JAKARTA, Oct 13 (Antara) - Fifty-seven year old British singer, songwriter and author Morrissey who was also known as leader of The Smith (1982-1987) showed his performance in Jakarta at 20:05 pm after showing the video Montage for 30 minutes showing the hallmark of Morrissey. "My heart, my heart my heart Jakarta," Morrissey said during the opening concert on Wednesday night, drawing an applause from the audience. The singer's full name is Steven Patrick Morrissey and he opened his performance with a song called Suedehead. Hundreds of his fans who had been waiting for his performance since Wednesday afternoon immediately cheered as the man addressed "Uncle Moz" sang couplets Suedehead. The singer of the song "The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" sang 20 songs during the 90-minute gig in Jakarta. Morrisey who is a vegetarian did not allow meat products in the concert area. This was the second concert of Morrissey after the inaugural one at the Tennis Indoor Senayan in May 2012.
