South China Sea, Psy's Gangnam Style Top 'Asean Today' Dec TV Programme

By Ahmad Fuad Yahya JAKARTA (Indonesia), Dec 28 (Bernama) -- The South China Sea territorial issue which has been a concern of outgoing Asean Secretary-General Dr Surin Pitsuwan leads the December 2012 edition of the "ASEAN Today" TV programme. In this episode, Dalton Tanonaka of Indonesia's Metro TV and Sarah Rabiatul Kamit of the Brunei Times in Bandar Seri Begawan report on the people and places of the dynamic Southeast Asia region. Also included in this month's programme are the regional business plans of international carmakers, Indonesian performing artist Butet Kartaredjasa, visits by South Korean superstar Psy, and the giant pandas now in residence in Singapore, the Asean Secretariat said in a statement here Friday. This is the 14th episode in the informative and entertaining series, and can be viewed on YouTube as well as through Asean broadcasters, including Singapore's Channel NewsAsia and Indonesia's Metro TV.
