“Pakistan Observer” issues article on 3rd Baku International Humanitarian Forum

Baku, October 31 (AzerTAc). Pakistani Observer newspaper has issued an article on participation of a Pakistani delegation in the 3rd Baku International Humanitarian Forum. The article says that the Pakistani delegation led by Chief Minister of Balochistan Province Abdul Malik Baloch arrived in Baku to attend the 3rd International Humanitarian Forum. The article says: “Pakistani delegation includes members of the National Assembly of Pakistan, the former Deputy Speaker of Pakistan’s Parliament, rectors of several universities and several known public figures. Meanwhile final preparations for the 3rd Baku International Humanitarian Forum to be held from October 31 to November 1 has reached the peak as officials, academics and scholars from more than 100 countries arrived in Baku by October 30 evening. Several Committees and sub-groups are expected to take up the issue of Humanitarian Aspects of Economic Development and other related social and communication subjects. The Baku International Humanitarian Forum an annual event is attended by well- known political, scientific and cultural personalities from international community including famous statesmen, Nobel Prize winners in the various fields of science and leaders of influential international organisations. The main objectives of the forum is to hold dialogues, discussions and exchange views on wide range of global issues in the interest of all humanity. Meanwhile foreign delegates have lauded the inter-harmony policy of Azerbaijan which has helped bring closer under among different sectarian Muslim groups and promoted development of the nation. In a related development to mark the start of Islamic month of Muharram the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has called upon Sunnis and Shiites to pray together and take part in religious ceremonies in Azerbaijan. Speaking at the event of the Gazi Council held in connection with the beginning of the month Muharram, the Sheikh ul Islam added “Today, tolerance, inter-religious relations and an attitude towards other religions in Azerbaijan serve as an example for the whole world,” he said. However, also warned that “But there are forces willing to disrupt these relations.
