200 Media Outlets And 300 Journalists Cover The Events Of Ashura Visit In Karbala

Karbala / NINA / - The Hussainiya Holy Shrine announced that more than 200 media outlets and 300 journalists and media professionals participated in covering the rituals of the tenth of Muharram. The head of the media department at al-Hussainiya shrine, engineer Abbas Asim al-Khafaji, said that "the media department has harnessed all efforts to participate in the ritual of the day of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and provide the best service to visitors and viewers." Al-Khafaji explained, "The coverage will be on several axes, including media coverage of the Husseini processions and the services provided to them, as well as the various services provided by the Holy Shrine from all its sections with visual, audio and read coverage." Al-Khafaji added, "The department provided various facilities to all local, Arab and international media outlets that expressed their desire to transmit these rites, as they were received, their entry was organized, and special security permits were issued for them to carry out their work in media coverage in the area of the two holy shrines and between the Two Holy Mosques." He indicated, "The number of media outlets covering the Ashura visit has reached more than (200) local, Arab and international media, while the number of media professionals and journalists participating in reporting the events of the tenth of Muharram this year has reached (300) journalists and media professionals."/ End
