Ahmadinejad Condoles Putin On Flood Catastrophe

Tehran, July 16, IRNA – Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad extended a condolence message to his Russian Counterpart Vladimir Putin over the death of number of people in a heavy flood in southern part of the country. In the message, President Ahmadinejad stressed that the heavy rains and flooding that claimed several lives in Russia was quite saddening. Expressing sympathy with the Russian president, government and the nation, Ahmadinejad prayed to Almighty Allah for the salvation of the bygones’ souls, and patience for their bereaved families and prestige and well-being for the Russian government and nation./end
