Al Arabi Back HH the Emir's Proposal on Jerusalem

Doha, February 26 (QNA) -The Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al Arabi has said that Israel has pursued its violation of international laws and conventions only because of the US unlimited support. Addressing the Doha International Conference for the Defense of Al-Quds he said that such stingless, inequitable backing infringes upon the rights of others and threatens peace and security in the Middle East. He supported the proposal of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani to ask the UN Security Council to set up a fact finding mission on Jerusalem to prepare the ground for compulsory UN resolutions on Israeli violations in the holy city. He said the conference on Jerusalem coincides with increasing threats risking the city's demographic nature.He described Israel's policies in the city as an open Judization warfare targeting all the historic, cultural and demographic aspects of the city. The Israeli measures targeted both Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, he noted. (QNA)
