Authorities:Thailand is not a conflicting party with any country

BANGKOK, December 4 (TNA) - The Thai military says that Thailand is not a direct conflicting party with any country. Major General Banpote Pulpian, Spokesman of the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC), stressed on the Thai stance while giving a special phone interview with Thai News Agency (TNA) on Friday morning. The ISOC spokesman said that reports on the recent arrival in Thailand of members of the Islamic State (IS) have not yet been verified. Meanwhile, Colonel Winthai Suvaree, Spokesman of the Thai army-led National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), did not confirm the reports that 10 Syrians who are IS members had entered Thailand. The NCPO spokesman told TNA on phone that concerned authorities are verifying the reports. The NCPO spokesman suggested people should not be worried with the unverified information, as intelligence authorities have not detected any IS movement in Thailand. (TNA)
