Bahrain’s judicial developments highlighted

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda received Moroccan Minister of Justice Abdullatif Wahbi, currently on visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He hailed deep-rooted historic and fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM King Mohammed Vi. The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments highlighted key judicial development initiatives, including the electronic transformation, the application of alternative penalties and measures, restorative justice for children and protecting them from abuse, and the adoption of alternative means in settling disputes. The two sides reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange practices in the fields of legal training and the development of judicial procedures.
