Bahrain condemns Houthi drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia

Manama, Aug. 24 (BNA): Bahrain has condemned the repeated systematic attacks by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on Saudi Arabia, in violation of international humanitarian law and all international laws and norms. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the launch of an explosive-laden drone towards Khamis Mushait today to target civilians and civil installations. The ministry praised the vigilance of the Saudi Air Defense Forces that intercepted and destroyed the drone. The ministry affirmed Bahrain’s full support for Saudi Arabia and all the measures it takes to confront the terrorist Houthi militia and its criminal acts. It called on the international community to condemn such repeated terrorist attacks that impede efforts aimed at maintaining regional security and stability.
