Bahraini, Bosnian cooperation discussed

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): The Bahraini side in the Bahraini-Bosnian Business Council today convened for its first meeting at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headquarters. Chaired by Ahmed Sabah Al-Saloum, the panel stressed the importance of setting up economic and trade joint ventures between Bahraini businessmen and their Bosnian counterparts. Saloum noted the strides in Bosnia, particularly in the business, tourism and real estate sectors, stressing of launching a direct Gulf Air line to Sarajevo to bolster economic relations in light of growing number of visitors to Bosnia on other airlines. The panel discussed the possibility of holding an exhibition in 2017 to exchange Bahraini and Bahrain products, urging the launch of investment portfolios in both countries, which would strengthen economic, trade and industrial relations. The Bahraini side in the Bahraini-Bosnian Business Council includes Younis Al-Mousawi, Aisha Yacoubi and Sayyed Ahmed Isa Marzouk.
