Bahraini-Tunisian cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received the newly-appointed Tunisian Ambassador to Bahrain, Kamal Al-Qizani, with whom she discussed ways to enhance cultural relations between the two brotherly countries.
Shaikha Mai welcomed the envoy and wished him a fruitful stay in the kingdom, expressing hope that his tenure will be full of achievements that benefit the two countries.
She stressed the strength of the Bahraini-Tunisian relations, lauding Tunisia’s constant presence in Bahrain’s cultural movement.
She informed the ambassador about BACA’s projects, particularly its preparations for the kingdom’s participation in Expo 2020, which is set to begin in October.
The envoy affirmed that the Bahraini-Tunisian relations have yielded many joint cultural projects, expressing his readiness to cooperate with BACA to support the cultural movement in the kingdom in the coming period.
