Baladna Signs MoU to Boost its Investments in Dairy Production in Philippines

Doha, February 16 (QNA) - Baladna, a Qatar Public Shareholding Company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Philippines' Departments of Agriculture (DA) and Trade Industry (DTI). The MoU aims to enhance cooperation and exchange of information and expertise to develop the milk and dairy industry in the Philippines, with the aim of increasing fresh production, as well as diversity of products through the introduction of a wide range of dairy products, the company said in a statement issued today. Baladna total potential investment in the Philippines could be as much as USD500 million, which will be invested to create a large-scale integrated dairy company. (QNA)
