BCCI hosts Russian delegation

Manama, Feb. 20(BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) hosted a Russian delegation including officials representing the Government, in addition to economic experts, leading businessmen and investors. The delegation also included representatives of leading Russian companies in the sectors of energy, medical equipment, real estate development, oil and gas, telecommunications and information technology, nuclear industries and minerals. BCCI board member and deputy chairman of the Bahraini side in the joint business council Jawad Youssef Al-Hawaj welcomed the delegation led by Vladimir Dimitrov , in the presence of BCCI second deputy chairman Abdulhamid Abduljabbar Al-Kooheji. The delegation will hold meetings with leading Bahraini businessmen to explore potential investment opportunities in both countries. According to statistics released by the Informatics and e-Government Authority, the volume of trade exchanges exceeded $10 million in 2016.
