Close Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations underlined

Manama, Feb. 20 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today received Kuwait’s National Assembly delegation led by Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim. Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, MP Abdulrahman Bu-Ali, Deputy Interior Minister, Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al-Fadhel, Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, and Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, Major-General Mohammed Bu-Hamood, also attended. The Interior Minister hailed the solid fraternal ties between the two countries reinforced under the wise leaderships of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait. He expressed appreciation of Kuwait’s supportive stances that reflect the long-standing bilateral relations and coordination. He highlighted the role of such meetings in promoting bilateral relations and cooperation in the interest of the two countries and their people. He pointed out the close joint security coordination between the two countries and the significance of concerted efforts to address current challengers.
