Contest of “Nur Otan” party

Astana, January 19, 2010 (Khabar) - “Nur Otan” party summed up the results of the competition of mass media on the best materials on fighting against corruption. In nomination “The best video topic - TV program” the first place was given to journalist of “Kazakhstan” TV channel, Dmitry Dvoinev, the second place was taken by the creative team of the “Khabar” Agency. The correspondents of the “Vremya” newspaper, Galina Vybornova, Alexander Tasbolatov from newspaper “Yegemen Kazakhstan”, employees of “Astana” TV channel, “Central Asia Monitor” and deputy editor of the legal department of “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” Tatyana Bredikhina are also among the winners. The first deputy chairman of “Nur Otan” party Nurlan Nigmatulin stressed that regular meetings of the party leadership and journalists can build a clearer course of anti-corruption work, and media attention to this problem greatly reduces the opportunity for corruption.
