Crown Prince receives outgoing Malaysian Ambassador

Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the outgoing Ambassador of Malaysia, His Excellency Ahmed Shahzan Abdulsamad, at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of continuing to expand bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the economic and investment sectors. His Royal Highness went on to highlight the importance of Malaysia as a partner to the Kingdom in light of the country’s role as a successful and progressive economy on the global stage. His Royal Highness praised the achievements of His Excellency the Malaysian Ambassador in further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, and wished him success in his future endeavours. For his part, His Excellency expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and praised the Crown Prince’s support for further strengthening the relationship between the Kingdom and Malaysia during the Ambassador’s tenure. The Ambassador concluded by wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further prosperity for the future, reinforcing his country’s commitment to building on already strong ties with Bahrain.
