Deputy Speaker Receives A Pakistani Delegation

Baghdad / NINA / - The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hakim Al-Zamili, received today, Wednesday, the Pakistani parliamentary delegation, headed by Ghulam Bibi Barwana, head of the Pakistan-Iraq Relations Committee, and Pakistan's Ambassador to Iraq Ahmed Amjad. Al-Zamili, according to a statement by his media office, expressed his pride in the depth of the joint ties between the two countries, expressing his hope for consolidating economic and commercial relations and religious tourism and encouraging investors to work in the Iraqi market, as well as experts in the field of education, medicine, industry and others. He said: "Iraq was subjected to the most horrific extremist terrorist attack aimed at destroying the country, but it managed, with the solidarity of its people, to end extremism, and to eliminate terrorism, which itself now threatens the security and stability of Pakistan, and many countries of the world." He added: "We hope that the people of Pakistan and all the peoples of the world will unite to end terrorism in all its names and forms, and to maintain global peace and security."
