e-Payment system development discussed

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza has received MasterCard Gulf Regional Director, Raghav Prasad, and head of business development, Pankaj Kathuria, praising their company's cooperation with Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) to facilitate the payment of bills through mobile phones. The minister said the EWA welcomes ideas and proposals that would enhance services provided to citizens and residents. The delegation praised the quality of services provided by EWA and reviewed other services that can be offered by the company in the development of an integrated system for electronic payments.
